In 2019, Elizabeth made her debut as a stage director with Tecumseh Youth Theatre's production of Mary Poppins. Happily, the show was a success earning multiple nominations in the 2019 Broadway World Awards including Best Production for Young Adults. In 2021 she returned to TYT and successfully and safely directed Beauty and the Beast in person despite pandemic conditions. In 2023, Elizabeth was invited back to direct Newsies and loved every minute. Thank you to Bullinger Photography for the photos of both Mary Poppins and Newsies!
Elizabeth also directed H.M.S. Pinafore with the University of Michigan Gilbert & Sullivan Society, performed safely and in-person December, 2021 to great acclaim. Thank you to Marilyn Gouin for the photos and to the cast, crew, and prod team for all of their hard work.
Elizabeth made her Music Directing debut with Bye Bye Birdie at Concordia University Ann Arbor under director Amanda Williams and returned to music direct Shakespeare in Love in October, 2023 and Big Fish in March, 2024. She is now the Director of Music at First United Methodist Church of Northville where she leads 4 choirs, oversees the praise band, and runs the church's concert series.
