"Elizabeth Mitchell as the sum and center of the March family universe – Marmee – offers a poignant but refreshingly lighthearted take on the role. She has a remarkable and distinctive singing voice, with the acting chops to accentuate that innate talent. Her solo moments of reflection on stage as a mother trying to keep the fraying threads of her family woven together are a gut punch."

" Then there is Emma Goldman (Elizabeth Mitchell) the fiery radical organizer whose rhetoric fuels the dreams of a better world for the working class. Eventually, we are told in the epilogue she, along with her dreams, is deported. "

2021-2022 Wilde Awards Winner- Best Lead Actress in a Play
"Emboldened by an electric all-female ensemble who relish every line of dialogue.... There’s ringleader Jenny (Elizabeth Mitchell) and her long tenured employees, the crass alcoholic Frances (Diane Hill) and ditzy blonde Anita (Annika Anderson) who easily get the show buzzing with their frank conversations, sarcastic attitudes, and hankering for whiskey. It only takes about five minutes to feel like we’ve known them our entire life, a testament to the actress’ portrayal and swift comedic delivery."
Nate Adams, The Only Critic
"A show like this is impossible without a strong cast, and DeBruyne delivers.... Elizabeth Mitchell, as the eponymous Jenny, is a shrewd business woman and part-time den mother – both demanding and protective of her girls."

"The Duke and Duchess of Plaza-Toro and their betrothed-from-birth daughter Casilda are a ridiculous highlight of the show. Elizabeth Mitchell impressively plays the Duchess, overshadowing the Duke at every turn as intended, and is absolutely sparkling in "On the Day When I Was Wedded," where she clues the audience in on who really wears the bloomers in their relationship."
Eli Neburger, PULP

"Strong ensemble acting and singing is turned in by Elizabeth Mitchell. Ms. Mitchell lights up the stage in Act III with a solo and a fabulous diva turn in a dress fit for Mardi Gras."

"Elizabeth Mitchell made Charlotte Lucas into a warm and loving woman, who, although she knew her worth, could easily see herself as wife to Mr. Collins."

"Frasquita and Mercedes (Elizabeth Mitchell) both sang and acted their roles well as the caring gypsy friends of Carmen. Their quintet in the second act was one of the highlights of the afternoon."
